An Ocean Treasure

Please contact me through the 'ask a question' link above with interest for this piece. This necklace design is created with the beautiful and unique ocean jasper stone. Ocean jasper is found at the edge of the sea along the coast of the Madagascar. Every stone is so individual, I feel like I've discovered a buried treasure. This one in particular, has a rich painterly quality. I handcrafted both the clasp and swirl out of Argentium silver, which I darkened with a patina. This piece should never be cleaned with any type of jewelry cleaner or polish. It is care free.

Materials: Ocean jasper, pearls, apatite, handmade sterling silver chain, Argentium silver.
