New! Copper Cones

The barrel beads in these pieces are of my design and were not made by a pattern or needle and thread as many beaded bead designs are. A needle does not fit through most pearls so this is where the idea for the design of these beads stemmed from. I wanted to create a unique bead design that you will see no where else which I could incorporate organic elements such as pearls and gemstones. They are truly one of a kind.

Each individual bead is painstakingly handmade with wire wrapped satiny green, copper and violet Czech glass and pearls. I've named them Copper Cones because although they are more tubular in shape, they remind me of baby pine cones. The pearls and antiqued wire wrapping add an organic look to the handmade bead. These are of my creation and the way I've composed them, they are hollow inside and the Czech beads on each end are held there by the tension of the wire wrap. Because they are hollow and the Czech beads glisten so, the light dances throughout as they dangle. Photos simply cannot do these beads justice.
